Here's what we're all about...

The MCRC Green Team aims to act, to educate, and to inspire.
We need to act because the world is warming up, with more people living a high-consumption lifestyle. In order for humanity to persist, we need to develop an ethic of conservation: a norm of respect for our world and the moral integrity not to over-consume.


The MCRC Green Team will be focusing primarily on instilling an ethic of conservation in Queen’s students/residents. We work directly with both students and residence administration in a combined bottom-up and top-down approach. We recognize that while we can’t do everything at once, change has to start somewhere. It starts with us. We can start by changing 1) ourselves and 2) our home: Queen’s residences. Thus, we plan to educate and to inspire ourselves and our peers to live, and think, green.

Here's the dirt on what you can do...

On Thursday, January 20th 2011, we will be holding our biannual General Membership Meeting. Come join us from 5:30-6:30pm in the Victoria Hall Lobby (the large main floor common area) for a chance to learn about the projects we will be running in the Winter Term as well as how you can get involved and make an impact!
